2016 MLB All-Star Roster Unveiled

July is here which means that it’s time to name and honor some of the best in the game this season with the annual MLB All-Star Game.
The 2016 MLB All-Star Game will take place at Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
On Tuesday, the starting rosters for the American League and National League were both announced as well as alternates and pitchers.
The Chicago Cubs lead the pack with the most players representing one team, while the Kansas City Royals and Boston Red Sox followed close behind.
American League:
- Catcher– Salvador Perez, Kansas City Royals
- First Base- Eric Hosmer, Kansas City Royals
- Second Base-Jose Altuve, Houston Astros
- Shortstop- Xander Bogaerts, Boston Red Sox
- Third Base– Manny Machado, Baltimore Orioles

But, the rosters still aren’t complete! There is one more Final Vote that allows fans to choose one more players from each league to join the rosters. A list of five players from each league was announced and fans now have until Friday, July 8 at 4:00pm. There are several ways to cast the final vote include Social Media, Texting and Online Voting.
