ALCS Game 3 Preview: Royals At Blue Jays

The Kansas City Royals surged to a two game lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS, and will now try and lock it up for a trip to the World Series with the next two games on the road. Here is everything you need to know for Game 3 of the ALCS:

Although it’s been rough since joining Kansas City this summer, RHP Johnny Cueto definitely showed his true self in Game 5 of the American League Division Series, leading the Royals to the series win and a trip the ALCS. In that previous start, he went eight innings,retiring the final nineteen Astros he faced.He has started against the Blue Jays three times in his career and holds a 2-0 record along with a 4.05 ERA.

Blue Jays:

In front of a home crowd that the entire nation is now aware is supportive of their team, the Blue Jays will send RHP Marcus Stroman to start Game 3. He hasn’t faced the Royals at all in 2015 and has just one career start. He has pitched twice so far in the 2015 postseason, recording an ERA of 3.46 and striking out a total nine batters.
