The last three games in the ALCS have been of the back and forth variety as both the Blue Jays and Royals traded wins after Kansas City took a 2-0 lead.
On Wednesday, the Blue Jays took an early lead and never looked back as starter Marco Estrada stepped up by tossing 7.2 innings, allowing one run on three hits, walking one and striking out five.
Chris Colabello hit a solo shot in the bottom of the second and a bases clearing double by Troy Tulowitzki to put the Jays up 5-0 and en-route to a 7-1 victory.
The Blue Jays may have saved their season as they head back to Kansas City looking for another two wins.
On Friday, both teams will battle in Game 6 and a chance for the Royals to end it at home, or the Jays to force a Game 7.
This ALCS has been one for the ages, playoff baseball at its finest.
