The Toronto Blue Jays bring back starter J.A. Happ, who won 11 games for them back in 2014, signing him to a 3-year/$36 Million dollar deal.
In 2015, Happ pitched for both the Seattle Mariners and the Pittsburg Pirates and combined he was 11-8, with a 3.61 ERA, with 151 strikeouts in 172 innings.
Happ was traded from the Jays in December 2014 to the Mariners for Micahel Saunders. Then during this past seasons trading deadline, he was sent to the Pirates from the Mariners for minor leaguer Adrian Sampson.
The southpaw had a good stretch with the Bucs, going 7-2, with a 1.85 ERA, with 69 strikeouts in 63.1 innings.
