Byron Buxton Triples For First MLB Hit
- Updated: June 16, 2015
The Twins #1 Prospect Byron Buxton used one of his great assets, his speed, as he hit a line drive into the left center field gap and easily made it to third base without a throw, in Monday’s loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
In his minor league career, he has amassed 36 triples, but amazingly 12 of those came this season in Double-A with the Chattanooga Lookouts.
Congrats to Buxton on his first major league hit.
