California League All Star Game: Modesto’s Bishop Gets 4-Hits In North’s 5-3 Victory

On Tuesday night, Seattle Mariners outfield prospect Braden Bishop stole the show with his 4-hit game, while also scoring three runs in North Division’s 5-3 victory over the South in the California League All-Star Game.
The South took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning, when Garrett Hampson scored ahead of Brian Mundell sac fly.
The North tied the game in the bottom of the frame at 1-1. Bishop lead off with a double, stole third after moving over to second on a walk, and scored an RBI single from Bryan Reynolds.
In the top of the third, the South regained an advantage with two runs, highlighted by an RBI double from Brendon Rodgers.
In the bottom of the fifth, the North took a 3-2, on a Two-RBI double from Tyler Ramirez.
The North added a run in the sixth and seventh and came away with a 5-3 victory.
