The Arizona Diamondbacks received an early Christmas present for their fans when they snagged Zack Greinke off the free agent market by handing him a six-year, $206.5 Million Dollar deal.
Greinke was 19-3, with a 1.66 ERA in 2015 and finished second in the NL Cy Young voting behind Cubs’ Jake Arrieta.
The 32-year old right hander will be playing with his sixth team, while entering his 13th MLB season.
Over the last three seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers he was 51-15, with a 2.30 ERA, and 555 strike outs.
The D-Backs haven’t been a force in the NL West since winning the division in 2011, but all can change after landing their new Ace.
