Dodgers Seager Finishes With Six Hits And Triple Shy Of Cycle

The Dodgers top outfield prospect Corey Seager finished 6 for 6 on Thursday afternoon agianst the Salt Lake City Bee.
The Triple-A affiliate Oaklahoma City Dodgers used Seager’s big day to bash 18 hits en-route to a 14-11 victory.
In the top of the first, Seager launched his third home run on the season over the left field fence, to put the Dodgers up 1-0.
In his second at bat in the top of the third, Seager hit a two-run single to put the Dodgers back in the lead at 3-2, after they allowed the Bee’s to take a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the second.
In the top of the fifth, 21-year old prospect hit a single for his third straight hit of the game, but was stranded on base.
The Dodgers put together a rally in the sixth, as they scored eight runs and Seager added to the scoring with a run scoring single of his own.
In the very next inning, the North Carolina native hit an RBI double to extend the lead to 12-6.
After the Bee’s scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth to pull within a run, Corey Seager helped put the game away by hitting an RBI double down the right field line to make the score 14-11 and secure the victory.
