First Week In The Florida State League

Thursday will mark one week that the Florida State League season began, so let’s take a look back at how the teams fare so far in 2018:

The Tortugas started the season by losing to the Fire Frogs 3-2, but since they have won four straight games, taking three of four from Florida and winning the first game against the Stone Crabs on Monday. Tuesday’s game was rained out, so a double-header is scheduled for later today.

The Marauders and the Hammerheads are both enjoying a hot start to the season, with Jupiter just .5 game out of first. Bradenton lost their first game and since have won four straight, while the Hammerheads started the season 1-2, and have won three straight games.
