Hamilton Returns To Arlington And Doubles In 1st At-Bat
- Updated: May 28, 2015
Josh Hamilton returned to Arlington on Thursday night, donning a Texas Rangers uniform for the first time since the 2012 season.
As Hamilton walked up to the batters box, he received a warm welcome from the Rangers faithful and he did not disappoint as he took the first pitch he saw from rookie lefty Eduardo Rodriguez and lined it down the right field line for a one-out double.
In his second at bat, he struck out on a 86 MPH change-up in the dirt.
Hamilton started the season with the Rangers on May 25th at Cleveland and in the three-game series he was 1 for 11, four strikeouts and a walk. So far in 2015, Hamilton is batting .154.
