Reds’ Todd Frazier Defeats Joc Pederson To Win Homerun Derby

The Annual Homerun Derby took place at Great American Ballpark on Monday night in Cincinnati. The 2014 runner-up and Reds’ third baseman Todd Frazier beat LA Dodgers’ rookie outfielder Joc Pederson 15-14 in the final round to bring the hometown crowd quite a celebration.

Below are the round by round results:

Round 1:

-Toronto Blue Jays’ Josh Donaldson hit nine homeruns with his longest at 465 feet to defeat the Chicago Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo who hit just eight homeruns with his longest at 452 feet.

-Reds’ Todd Frazier hit fourteen homeruns with his longest at 455 feet to defeat the Texas Rangers’ Prince Fielder who hit thirteen homeruns with eight longer than 425 feet and his longest at 474 feet.

-Dodgers’ Joc Pederson hit thirteen homeruns with his longest at 468 feet to defeat the Baltimore Orioles’ Manny Machado who hit twelve homeruns with his longest at 469 feet.

-The L.A. Angels’ Albert Pujols hit ten homeruns with his longest at 442 feet to defeat the Chicago Cubs’ rookie Kris Bryant who hit nine homeruns with hi slongest at 462 feet.

Round 2:

Frazier defeated Donaldson with a score of 10-9.

Pederson defeated Pujols with a score of 12-10.
