Opening Day 2015: Games On Tap

It’s finally here, a full day of regular season baseball. To get you started on all the games, here are the starting pitchers for each game on Monday.
Blue Jays vs. Yankees, 1:05 pm ET | |
Drew Hutchison, RHP Hutchison makes his first career Opening Day start for the Blue Jays. In 2014, after returning from Tommy John Surgery he was 11-13 with a 4.48 ERA. | Masahiro Tanaka, RHP Tanaka will make his first Opening day start for the Yanks. In 2014 debut, he finished 13-5, with a 2.77 ERA in 20 appearances. |
Twins vs. Tigers, 1:08 pm ET | |
Phil Hughes, RHP Hughes gets his first Opening Day nod for the Twins. In his first season with the club in 2014, he was 16-10, with a 3.52 ERA, with one CG in 32 starts. | David Price, LHP Price will start the season for the Tigers and it will be the first pitcher other than Justin Verlander to do so since 2007. With the Tigers and Rays in 2014, Price was 15-12, with a 3.26 ERA, and 3 CG in 34 starts. |
Rockies vs. Brewers, 2:10 pm ET | |
Kyle Kendrick, RHP Kendrick, who spent eight years with the Phillies, will get his first career Opening Day start. In 2014, he finished 10-13, with a 4.61 ERA. | Kyle Lohse, RHP Lohse will be the first Brewers starter other than Yovani Gallardo, to open a season in the last five years. In 2014 he was 13-9, with a 3.54 ERA with 2 CG in 31 starts. |

Clay Buchholz, RHP Buchholz will make his first Opening Day Start for the Red Sox. Corey Kluber, RHP Kluber, the reigning AL Cy Young award winner, will make his first Opening Day start of his career.
