Rays Sign Free Agent Asdrubal Cabrera

As reported by MLB.com on Tuesday, the Tampa Rays have agreed to a one year contract worth about $8 million dollars, with free agent infielder Asdrubal Cabrera.
The deal is pending a physical, but once it goes through Cabrera, will join his third major league ball club in less than a year.
The 29-year old started his pro career with the Cleveland Indians in 2007 and was an all star infielder in 2011 and 2012.
On July 31, 2014, he was traded by the Indians along with cash to the Washington Nationals for Zach Walters.
Prior to being traded to the Nationals, he was batting .240, with nine home runs and 40 RBI’s in 378 at bats. In 49 games for the Nats, Cabrera batted .229, with five home runs and 21 RBI’s in 175 at bats playing mostly second base.
Cabrera joins a Rays infield that seemed to be set with Ben Zobrist and Yunel Escobar, so the question still remains, are the Rays done with their dealing?
