The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are sending Josh Hamilton to the Texas Rangers, according to multiple media outlets.
Hamilton, who has been recovering this season from right shoulder surgery, played with the Rangers from 2008 – 2012 and was a five-time all star who also won the 2010 American League MVP award. After the 2012 season, he left Texas to sign with the Angels for five years and $125 million.
After his latest setback and multiple injuries causing him to miss significant time in 2014, the all-star outfielder will be heading back to Texas to regain his all-star form.
