Marlins Dee Gordon Suspended 80 Games For PEDS

The Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon was suspended by Major League Baseball for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs early Friday morning.
It has been reported by multiple media outlets that MLB’s suspension was effective immediately.
Gordon, who made his major league debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2011, was traded to the Marlins in a six player trade that took place on December 11, 2014, after his first all-star season.
In 2015, he led the league with 205 hits and 58 stolen bases as he appeared in his second all-star game.
Before his suspension on Friday morning, Gordon was batting .267 (24 for 90) and just 9 for 40 in his last ten games.
