At just twenty-one years old it seems that Ibandel Isabel has a bright future ahead of him.
The first baseman, who hails from the Dominican Republic is currently leading the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League with 29 RBIs and is second on the team with a .351 batting average in thirty-two games.
In his last ten games with the Raptors he has hit .324 with a homer and 4 RBIs and four walks for a total of twelve hits in 37 at-bats.
Isabel’s power at the plate is more advanced than any other twenty-one year old in the rookie leagues. Most recently he hit a homerun calculated at about 488 feet, something even the majority of Major Leaguers may struggle doing.
