Bradenton Marauders 4 Tampa Yankees 1
The Bradenton Marauders defeated the Tampa Yankees on Monday night 4-1 to clinch the FSL Championship three games to one. This is the first Florida State League Championship that Bradenton has ever won.

With the 9-4 win on Monday night the High Desert Mavericks now take a 2-1 series lead allowing them to clinch the south series victory on Tuesday night and advance to the California League Championship. It was a big second inning offensive push with five runs scored including a two un triple by the Mavericks’ Michael De Leon.

With the 6-3 win the Visalia Rawhide swept the Bakersfield Blaze three games to nothing to clinch the California League North Division and punched their ticket to the California League Championship series. This series is also the conclusion of the Bakersfield Blaze play as the team’s contract expired at the conclusion of the season.

Franklyn Kilome led the Lakewood Blue Claws to a dominating 5-0 win over the Rome Braves in the first game of the South Atlantic League Championship series. Kilome held the Braves to just one hit; their only hit of the game in seven innings of work; striking out nine. Grant Dyer then took over pitching duties for Lakewood shutting out the BRaves in two innings fo work; striking out three.
