Triple A: Francisco Pena Hits Three Home Runs In Victory

Kansas City Royals catching prospect Francisco Pena hit three home runs in Tuesdays 6-4 Omaha Storm Chasers victory over the Iowa Cubs.
Pena, who is currently batting .276, with eight home runs and 22 RBI, hit his first home run of the game in the bottom of the second to put the Storm Chasers up early 1-0.
The Cubs scored a run in the top of the third to tie the game and two in the fourth to take a 3-1 lead. But Pena hit his second home run of the game, a two run shot over the left field wall to tie the game at 3-3.
In the seventh, the Cubs took a 4-3 lead, but Omaha answered right back with a run of their own in the bottom half of the frame on Pena’s third home run of the game.
In the bottom of the ninth, Casey Kotchman hit a walk-off two run home run to keep the Storm Chasers a game over .500 at 33-32.
