Veteran Harang Inks Deal With Phillies

The Phillies signed right hander Aaron Harang to a one-year contract worth $5 million dollars, that will also include performance and awards bonuses.
The 36-year old veteran pitched for the Atlanta Braves in 2014 and was 12-12, with a 3.57 ERA, and 161 strike outs in 204.1 innings. His best season in the majors came with the Cincinnati Reds in 2007, when he was 16-6, and recorded 218 strike outs in 231.2 innings.
Barring any further signings or trades, Harang looks to join a Phillies rotation that already includes, Cole Hamels, Cliff Lee, Jerome Williams, and David Buchanan.
