With Trade Deadline Looming, Marlins Latos Drawing Attention

On Tuesday, Miami Marlins starter Mat Latos threw a gem against the Arizona Diamondbacks tossing seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits, one walk and seven strikeouts leading Miami to a 3-0 victory.
According to MLB.com the Marlins have received calls for Latos’ services, with Miami interested in moving the right hander. The Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs could be teams that Latos would end up with.
On the season, Latos is 4-6, with a 4.48 ERA, 74 strikeouts in 82.1 innings pitched and a 1.26 WHIP.
There are also reports that the Marlins right hander Dan Haren could be involved in a trade with the Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers who are also interested in his services.
