Here’s a breakdown of Game 2 of the 2015 World Series:

When: Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 8:00pm

The Starters:

  • Mets– RHP Jacob deGrom will start Game 2 of the World Series for the Mets, which will be his fourth playoff start; he’s currently 3-0 in the postseason so far and has shown his dominance as he has continued to fight back even when he is down in the count. deGrom has struck out an impressive 27 batters in those three starts and has allowed a combined four runs. Like Harvey, deGrom has never faced the Kansas City Royals in his young career.
  • Royals- Kansas City will look to their mid-summer acquisition RHP Johnny Cueto as he takes the mound for the Royals in Game 2. Cueto has struggled since joining the Royals and in his last start in the ALCS against the Blue Jays he worked just two innings with eight runs allowed. Cueto’s career record against the Mets is 3-4 with a ERA of 4.02.
