Yogi Berra, Hall of Famer, and New York Yankees Legend, passed away Tuesday at the age of 90. He had an amazing career filled with championships and many memorable moments. Some of the moments that fans will always remember are how he had a way with words.

When Berra spoke, things just came out that didn’t seem to make sense, but it became known as Yogisms and as funny as they seemed, it was just Yogi being Yogi.

Reported Wednesday on CNN.com, Berra was once quoted as saying, “I really don’t know why I say them, It just comes out.”

Here is a list of some of the most memorable Yogisms:

It ain’t over ’til its over.

Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical.

All pitchers are liars or crybabies.

When you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I thought they said it was a steak dinner but it was only a state dinner.

The wind always seems to blow against catchers when they are running.

Half of the lies they say about me aren’t true.

A nickel ain’t worth a dime anymore.

He hits from both sides of the plate. He’s amphibious.

You should always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise, they won’t come to yours.

I always thought that record would stand until it was broken.

The future ain’t what it used to be.

Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical.

R.I.P. Peter Yogi Berra
1925 – 2015

You will be truly missed. Thanks for the memories.
