11U Chargers Baseball: Youth Baseball Done the Right Way

There are a lot of youth baseball teams out there and if you have a young ballplayer, finding a good team is not an easy task. At 10 or 11 years old, a player who wants to compete on the Florida travel baseball scene needs to develop the fundamentals of the game, mental toughness and a culture where players and parents encourage every player to succeed. This is where Chargers Baseball stands out.

My son, George, started playing with 10U Chargers last Fall. He’s commented on many occasions how lucky he is to have found this team. The coaching staff is second to none, including Coach David Bultema (LOD Podcast Ep. 101) and Ryan Monaghan. Both former collegiate players themselves, they know what it takes to compete at a high level. However, it goes beyond competition. They know how to communicate with and motivate kids.

Getting 10-11 year olds to focus, make gradual improvements and work together as a unit is no small accomplishment. The emphasis has never been on winning trophies, but the team took home some hardware last year as a result of the process. This Fall, the team moves from 10U to 11U and they’re ready to take on a new challenge.

The 11U Chargers could use your help! They’re running a team fundraiser to buy the essential equipment needed to continue their growth. If you’d like to donate to George and his crew, you can either purchase a Vertical Raise (Virtual) Discount Card for $25 or donate any amount you choose.

This is a great way to invest in a youth baseball program that’s teaching the game the right way. 11U Chargers Baseball in Ocoee (FL) hits all the marks.
