A-Rod Launches 3 Homers In Yankees Comeback Victory

(Gabe Rodriguez)
Alex Rodriguez has never hit a home run at Target Field, but on Saturday he launched three moon shots to help lead the Yankees to an 8-5 comeback victory over the Minnesota Twins.
In his second at bat and the Yankees trailing 5-0, Rodriguez hit a 2-0 pitch over the left center field wall to put the Yankees on the board.
In the top of the seventh, A-Rod hit a two run home run on a line drive to center field scoring Chris Young, who doubled to open up the inning. The Yankees added two more runs in the inning to pull within 5-4.
In the top of the ninth, Rodriguez led off the inning with his 23rd homer of the season, another bomb over the center field fence to tie the game at 5-5. The Bronx Bombers then added three more runs to take an 8-5 lead.
A 1-2-3 bottom of the ninth from closer Andrew Miller secured the comeback victory and his 23rd save on the season.
