Atlanta Braves (Finally) Win!

After an 0-7 start, the Atlanta Braves have their first win of the 2025 season.  Going 0-4 in San Diego and 0-3 in LA, the Braves took the home opener 10-0 against the Miami Marlins.

The Braves won with strong pitching from Spencer Schwellenbach.  He pitched eight innings giving up only two hits and striking out 10 batters.  Braves hitters busted out of their slump with home runs from Marcell Ozuna and Matt Olson.  Michael Harris II added three hits and Austin Riley with two hits and two RBIs.

The 10-0 win over the Marlins on Friday, might be the reset button the Braves need to come back.  The Braves will face the Marlins again tonight at 7:15pm with AJ Smith-Shawver on the mound.
