Keithron Moss

AZL Rangers Keithron Moss Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday, Keithron Moss. Born on August 20th, 2001 Keithron turns 18 years old today. He is currently on playing rookie ball with the AZL Rangers.

Tiny with but a Big Heart

The first time I saw Keithron Moss, he was noticeably small or Tiny as we say. And that is because he was playing with the twelve-year-olds in a pickup game.

Also, when you are coaching amount hundreds of kids, there are always a few that catches your eyes. And Keithron was one of them. Even though I coached the bigger division, I kept looking at this very small short-stop with an arm to reach first base.

Moving through Freedom Farm:

Keithron played all of his baseball life at Freedom Farm Baseball League. Where compete well and made just about every team that played at the Baseball Nationals for Freedom Farm.

His ability to through the baseball across the field from short-stop was something to see.  As a result, his Mom enrolled him in a newly formed MaxD Baseball Academy established by a few former minor league baseball players. At the age of 12, he started working out at MaxD.

In short, his game became defined. Soon, people started to take notice of his play.

A Time to Move On:

On December 13th, 2017 the Taxes Rangers came and signed Keithron Moss at the age of sixteen. As a free agent, and on June 2nd, 2018 he was sent to the DSL Rangers 1 to start his minor league career.

Finally, starting his dream of becoming a major league player. Keithron starts his journey in the Dominican Summer League where he played in 51 games, 29 hits in 163 at-bats for a batting average of 196.

In summary, Hoping to see you two players rise to the top.

Jeffrey was born on April 29th, 1961, in Nassau, Bahamas to Rejoiner Ann Rolle and Jerome James Francis Etienne. Married to Andrea G. Rolle-Francis, they have two daughters; Janae Latoya Francis, a graduate of Allegany College of Maryland, and Jessica Lee Francis a graduate Potomac State College West Virginia University in Kyser West Virginia. Jeffrey was coaching the sport of baseball from 1980 at the age of 18 years old because he loved the sport as a kid. He started listening to the game over the radio out of Miami Florida in the late 60s and in the early 70s started playing the game locally in various local leagues right up to the premier senior league; a league where all of the current Bahamian minor leaguers played. In 1982, Jeffrey had an invite to a three day tryout with the New York Yankees in Hollywood Florida, which was an awesome experience that is lasting a life time memory for him. Jeffrey has been following the Bahamian baseball players in the minor leagues since 1999 with Angelo Burrows, but found greater interest with the signing of Antoan Richardson in 2005. He also writes a year end review on their play on his Facebook page, Baseball Bahamas, and he has a website with the same name. He has a great following and would love to expose the baseball players to a bigger worldwide audience. He has a good relationship with all the players because he personally coached most of them. His favorite MLB Team is the Detroit Tigers from 1969.
