On Episode 37 of the Legends on Deck Podcast, Anna DiTommaso chatted with Brian Koss and I, about her website, the Ballpark Bucket List. The site allows a baseball fan the opportunity to chronical their journey in visiting different baseball parks as well as just sharing what other baseball bucket list items they may want to experience. The other key part of the site, is that you can chat with other like-minded fans and read all about their journey’s as well.
Brian was a guest on Anna’s Baseball Bucket List podcast back in late June, as he was able to share his unique baseball journey and not long after, Anna had me as a guest to share where my love for the game started, who opened up my eyes to it all, my two boys, all about Legends on Deck and even minor league baseball.
As I went down memory lane, it reminded me how the love of the game was instilled in me and who put it there. Many people have stories on how their dad introduced the game to them, but mine is much more unique. Plus the love I have for the game, also trickled down to my two boys, but if it was not for this one person in my life, nothing that I accomplished in the game from playing it, to reaching the majors as a writer, to even creating Legends on Deck, would have even been a reality.
Of course, I am sure you are wondering, who that person could have been, well lets just say, I have known her my whole life.
