Here at Legends on Deck, we recently released a podcast Episode 55 with guest Kash Shaikh, the CEO and President of Baseball United. Kash shared with us all the exciting and ground breaking news coming out of Dubai, as Baseball United is creating the first ever Dubai Professional Baseball League.
Part of that process means that logistics in that area will change and one important item on their list is having a viable playing field for their up and coming league.
The main choice of the field, has been noted to be the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and with the All Star Showcase set to be played on November 24-25, 2023, the Baseball United team has been working hard to get the Cricket field, transformed into a baseball field.
Over the years we have seen the Dubai go big or go home attitude with their mind blowing achievements as they have grown tremendously to become the place to be for new and exciting projects, so why not a professional baseball field and why not add it to the field that houses the preferred sport of the region. Maybe if Baseball United has much success promoting the game we love in this part of the world, they too will be blessed with a true professional baseball stadium of their own. Nothing is off the table when it comes to Dubai, which makes these new venture even more exciting for all baseball fans.
