Bad news for Cubs and their fans, as they will lose Kyle Schwarber for all of the 2016 season after he tore his ACL/LCL in a collision on Thursday night with Dexter Fowler as they both tried to run down a drive in the outfield.
The Cubs have enough talent that this may not affect their drive to the 2016 postseason, but it is still a huge blow to a team, the fans and Schwarber.
We wish him a full recovery as he works on getting himself back to the field.

The Chicago Cubs suffered a major blow on Thursday night when left fielder Kyle Schwarber injured his left leg as he collided with center fielder Dexter Fowler in the second inning, as they both attempted to catch a deep fly ball in the left center field gap.
Schwarber, who laid on the ground as Cubs trainers attended to him, tried to walk off the field with assistance, but then required to be driven off on a cart.
The extent of the injury is still unknown. Stay tuned for updates.
