St. Louis Cardinals’ prospect Harrison Bader is about to complete his first full season of professional ball and he sure hasn’t disappointed.

Currently with the Double-A Springfield Cardinals of the Texas League, Bader is hitting .333 so far this season with eleven homers and 26 RBIs and seven stolen bases; he currently has a .381 OBP and .565 SLG.

In the past ten days, the twenty-one year old has hit .286 with ten hits in thirty-five at-bats with four homers and 5 RBIs.

Not only does Bader perform well at the plate but also as a versatile outfielder as well, having played all three positions throughout his young career. A natural in center field however, he has great speed and if he keeps it going at this pace both offensively and defensively he will be making his way to Busch Stadium sooner rather than later.

Drafted in the third round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, Bader spent three seasons playing with the University of Florida.

In his first full season of pro ball in the summer of 2015 he split his summer between the State College Spikes and Peoria Chiefs. He hit a combined .311 batting average with eleven homers and 32 RBIs. He was named Milb.com’s Organizational All-Star for his stellar performance that season.
