Florida High School Baseball and Softball Brackets Take Shape

In Florida, baseball and softball at the high school level is one of the most competitive anywhere in the country.  Florida high schools are essentially a farm system for college programs.  Today, the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) hosted Bracket Release Shows for both boys baseball and girls softball.  The presentation was done in order of class ranking, from Class 1A-7A.

The Road to Fort Myers begins next Tuesday, May 9th!  The final four teams will play for their respective class state championship at Hammond Stadium (Home of the Mighty Mussels) from May 17-24.

Visit the FHSAA baseball page for full details.

The Road to Clermont begins at the regional level on May 10th!  The final four teams will play for their respective class state championship at Legends Way Ball Fields from May 22-27.

Visit the FHSAA softball page for full details.
