FSL: Clearwater Threshers Pitchers Combine For No-Hitter

The Clearwater Threshers beat the Bradenton Marauders 3-0, to earn their first win of the season as five pitchers combined for a no-hitter.
Samuel Aldegheri started his first game of the season and tossed four shutout/hitless innings, with no walks and struck out seven. He faced the minimum 12 batters through his four innings and retired all four. At one point he recorded five starlight strikeouts.
Next pitcher Eduar Segovia, who earned the victory, tossed two innings, allowing two walks and struck out two.
Andrew Walling, Orion Kerkering and Wesley Moore, each pithed an inning with Kerkering striking out the side and Moore earning the save.
The no no was the third for the Threshers since the 2007 season.
As for Clearwater’s offense, in the third, Justin Crawford grounded into a force out scoring Freylin Minyety with the first run of the game. In the eighth the Treshers added two more insurance runs on a throwing error and ground out.
Both the Threshers and Marauders will face off on Easter Sunday looking for an edge in the Florida State League West Division as they both trail the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels by .5 game.
