With the series tied at 2, the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays will be back at the Rogers Centre on Wednesday afternoon, with the winner headed to the American League Championship Series. The Rangers had a 2-0 series lead and then dropped the last two games to the Jays.

The Matchup:

LHP Cole Hamels will take the start for the Rangers, making his second appearance of the ALDS. In Game 2 he worked seven innings, allowing six hits, striking out six, and allowing two earned runs. Hamels will need to shutdown a powerful Blue Jays’ offense that has some of the best hitters in the League.

RHP Marcus Stroman made his first ever postseason start in Game 2 and got roughed up a bit, allowing four runs in seven innings of ball. He will duel against Hamels who also pitched in the second game.
