Kristian Robinson is Back. Between the Pandemic & legal issues from 2019 to May 30th, 2023, K. Robbie is finally back on the Baseball Diamond. Every day like clockwork for the last three years, I would click on Minor League Baseball Transaction to see if there was any news on Kristian Robinson.

Arizona Diamondbacks activated OF Kristian Robinson:

May 29th. Arizona Diamondbacks optioned Out Fielder Kristian Robinson to Visalia Rawhide. So, with this news, guess what I am doing on May 30th at 9 pm? I thank God that this day is finally here for me to see Kristian Robinson back on the baseball diamond.

Diamondbacks 40-Man Roster

Named to the DBacks 40-Man Roster, K Robbie will debut at Single-A Visalia Rawhide of the California League. After a three years wait, in his first at-bat, he got a strike-out followed by two singles and a stolen base before flying out to the left fielder in his 4th at-bat. Great start to the season, a two-for-four night giving him a .500 Batting Average. Moreover, I am waiting to see what tomorrow will bring.

Following in Jazz’s footsteps:

Robinson, a former #1 DBacks prospect, followed the former #3 prospect of the DBacks, Jasrado Jazz Chisholm Jr., A Bahamian Baseball Superstar now with the Miami Marlins. He is hoping to join him soon at the MLB level. At one point in 2019, Chisholm was #3, and Robinson was #5 in the DBacks System.

Hence, we are all pulling for his success and upward movement in the DBacks system so the local baseball fans can enjoy watching him play at the top level.

The Arizona Diamondbacks stood with Robinson throughout.

For Starters, I believe Robinson will appreciate his baseball organization for sticking with him through it all. They know they have a diamond in the rough waiting to be polished and exposed to the big league. Hence, they have added him back to their 40-Man Roster.

Robinson’s legal issues story is online; anyone interested can google it.

So Exciting to see Robinson Back:

I am about to finish this post. In two games, Kristian Robinson is 3 for 6 with a home run and a stolen base. So maybe I will stay up to finish watching this game.

Kristian Robinson is Back. That has a sweet ring to it. We are all pulling for him, and may he be a role model for a second chance. Thanks to everyone involved in his return.

Week One in the Books:

I have decided to wait until Kristian and Rawhide finish their six games series with The Lake Elsinore Storm before posting on Kristian Robinson, who had a very good series.

Robinson was 8 for 26 in his first six games for a .306 batting average, which included three runs, one double: one home run, four stolen bases, 10 Ks, and 2 RBIs.

Week one is in the books; now, I will continue to follow his progress in baseball.

Jeffrey was born on April 29th, 1961, in Nassau, Bahamas to Rejoiner Ann Rolle and Jerome James Francis Etienne. Married to Andrea G. Rolle-Francis, they have two daughters; Janae Latoya Francis, a graduate of Allegany College of Maryland, and Jessica Lee Francis a graduate Potomac State College West Virginia University in Kyser West Virginia. Jeffrey was coaching the sport of baseball from 1980 at the age of 18 years old because he loved the sport as a kid. He started listening to the game over the radio out of Miami Florida in the late 60s and in the early 70s started playing the game locally in various local leagues right up to the premier senior league; a league where all of the current Bahamian minor leaguers played. In 1982, Jeffrey had an invite to a three day tryout with the New York Yankees in Hollywood Florida, which was an awesome experience that is lasting a life time memory for him. Jeffrey has been following the Bahamian baseball players in the minor leagues since 1999 with Angelo Burrows, but found greater interest with the signing of Antoan Richardson in 2005. He also writes a year end review on their play on his Facebook page, Baseball Bahamas, and he has a website with the same name. He has a great following and would love to expose the baseball players to a bigger worldwide audience. He has a good relationship with all the players because he personally coached most of them. His favorite MLB Team is the Detroit Tigers from 1969.
