Legends On Deck Podcast, Episode 10: Baseball in Cameroon (Africa) with Arsel Giowou

While there have been four professional baseball players who have come from Africa, none have come from Cameroon.  Arsel Giowou looks to change that with the Harmony Baseball Academy.  The western African nation of Cameroon is largely unfamiliar with the game of baseball.   Arsel discovered the game as a young man and was able to represent his country at the World Children’s Baseball Fair in Japan.  His goal became to expand the game he loves throughout his native Cameroon.  He’s currently teaching young people the fundamentals of the game and organizing league play.  Arsel’s work is gaining his academy attention from around the globe.  Brian & David say down with him to discuss the origins of the Harmony Baseball Academy and his goals for the future.
