LOD Podcast, Episode 28: Baseball at the Lucky Corner with Mark Sackett

In this special St. Patrick’s Day episode of the LOD Podcast, Brian and David chat with Mark Sackett, General Manager of the Royal Oak Leprechauns! Mark is a long-time baseball guy in Michigan who has spent the last few years building the Leprechauns brand in the Detroit suburbs. Brian attended a game in Royal Oak last summer and wrote, Summer Baseball at the Lucky Corner, documenting his experience.
The Leprechauns play their home games a Memorial Park, now known as “The Lucky Corner,” at 13 Mile & Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak (MI). They are members of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. Brian and David talk with Mark about his decades of involvement in the game, launching the Leprechauns, moving them to Royal Oak and building a year round brand for their summer baseball team.
