LOD Podcast, Episode 41: From High School to the Majors with Brian Milner

In 1978, the Toronto Blue Jays drafted Brian Milner, a catcher, out of Southwest High School in Ft. Worth, Texas.  On June 23, 1978, Milner would make his debut with the Blue Jays, by-passing the minor league entirely.  Milner would spend the following few seasons in the Blue Jays farm system, before he went on to coaching and scouting.  But his story, from high school directly to the majors, will very likely never happen again.

Brian and David sat down with Brian Milner to hear his story and discuss his experience in baseball.  As a player, coach, scout and father of current MLB pitcher, Hoby Milner, Brian has dedicated his life to passing the game along to the next generation.  Join us for Episode 41 of the Legends on Deck Podcast!
