LOD Podcast, Episode 52: Shaping the Future with Jesse Marlo

When it comes to amateur baseball in the Orlando area, there’s very few who match the credentials of Jesse Marlo.  A graduate of Poinciana High School, Marlo went on to play college baseball at Seminole State, LSU and UCF.  When his playing days came to an end, he turned to coaching and never looked back.

Marlo began his career as an Assistant Coach at Colonial High School, before taking the reigns at West Orange High School for thirteen seasons.  He helped build the West Orange program into one of the most successful in the area.  Meanwhile, his work coaching travel ball evolved into an eventual partnership that would become Power Baseball.

As Co-Owner and Co-Founder of Power Baseball, Marlo along with his partners Eric Lassiter and Brian Demsey have developed Power into one of the premiere programs anywhere in the country.  Marlo coaches their 2024 Marucci (17U) team, who currently sits at #1 overall in the country, according to Perfect Game’s End of Summer Rankings. He is also the owner and director of Team Orlando, a travel baseball program dedicated to developing younger players before they reach high school age.  And when he’s not on the field, you’ll find him at Turn2 Sports working with pitchers.

We cover all this and more in Episode 52 of the Legends on Deck Podcast with Jesse Marlo!
