In Episode 54 of the LOD Podcast, we welcome Korey Reed and Reeves Martin of Sandlot Skills. Korey is a former college baseball player and current hitting instructor. He’s also coached at the youth, high school and collegiate level; most recently with the Winter Garden Warthogs of the FCSL Futures Leagues in 2023. Reeves was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2019 out of the University of New Orleans. He pitched in their system until early 2021 and then launched Martin Pitching Performance.
While both Korey and Reeves work in private baseball instruction, they combine their forces for Sandlot Skills. Their goal is to bring their baseball expertise to a broader audience and provide useful drills that can be replicated by players and coaches alike. They are both located in the Greater Tampa Bay area, but have hosted their instructional programs across the state of Florida.
