In his first pro season between Short Season A and Full Season A, he batted .308, with 20 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, and 64 RBIs through 69 games.
After the 2020 season was suspended due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Burdick returned in 2021 and had an off season with the average as he batted just .224 between Double A and Triple A, but he kept it up with his power stroke as he hit 20 doubles, two triples, 23 home runs, drove in 53 runs and walked 79 times through 114 games.
The Marlins rewarded Burdick’s 2021 campaign with a promotion to a full season in Triple A in 2022 and in 99 games, he batting average sank more, but he continued to be a power threat at the plate, with 16 doubles, five triples, 15 home runs, 58 runs driven in and 53 walks.

On the last day of the season he went 3 for 4, with two runs scored, a home run and four RBIs. He finished with the big club hitting four home runs and drove in 11 in 32 games.
This season so far he is batting .344, with four doubles, leads the International League with seven home runs, has 15 RBIs, and seven walks in 15 games.
On Opening Day, Burdick went hitless in four at bats, but since he has been on fire as he currently has a 14-game hitting streak. During the streak, he has seven multi-hit games, has scored a run in 10 of the 14 games, and has hit two home runs in two separate games.
Look for Burdick to make his way back to the Marlins this season and make it hard for the big club to send him back down again.
