Class-A Advanced
Prospects on Deck: 3B Dylan Busby – Pirates

While the Seminoles returned to Omaha this week, FSU alumni Dylan Busby participated in the Florida State League All Star Game. The Sarasota native was the Pirates Third Round pick (88th overall) in 2017.
After the Noles exited the College World Series in 2017, Busby would play an additional 41 games with the West Virginia Black Bears (Short Season A / New York – Penn League). In 2018, Busby he spent most of the season with the (Class A) West Virginia Power, but only saw a total of 45 games and 153 at-bats due to injuries.
Busby has returned to his college roots so far this season for Bradenton, displaying his power with 13 Home Runs (2nd) and 34 RBIs (2nd) by the break. His first half performance earned him a spot in the FSL Home Run Derby. In just two games since the break, Busby has already added a homer and 7 RBIs. The Marauders will need the production from all seven of their All-Stars as they look to make gains on the Miracle in the FSL South. Bradenton finished 36-30 in the First Half, just three games behind Fort Myers.
