Winter Garden Squeeze
The Squeeze Report | Edition 1: At the Ballpark
While the game on the field is the center point, the action on the Crossline Community Church Concourse has been providing fans with the full ballpark experience. As you walk the concourse, tents from our community partners are on display, providing shade from the summer sun and a tailgate-style experience. Tent City is a place fans can cheer on the team, take in the sunset, and chat with their friends and neighbors.

The Horizon Game Changers have fueled our gameday execution, providing much needed help at tickets, concessions and much more. Spearheaded by Providence Koss, this student-led organization has carried over from supporting on campus events throughout the school year to assisting our Squeeze staff successfully administer games.
As you make your way along the concourse, there is no shortage of activities. The Kid Zone is lively with hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, cornhole and putt-putt golf. Cool off with King of Pops popsicle, snack on a Melted Morel cookie or play a round of board game baseball with the Card League.
Popstroke is on hand at the end of the 4th inning for the Popstroke Putt-Off, narrated by Bat Boy George of Kossball Cards. On field activities like the Dizzy Bat Race, Orange Observer Newspaper Toss and The Learning Experience (Horizon West) Races of the Bases take place after the first, third and fifth innings.
The annual Father’s Day pre-game catch on the field was taken to a whole new level this year. In partnership with Southern Hills Farms and Matthew’s Hope, Horizon Ballpark was transformed into the Field of Dreams. The dugouts, backstop and bleachers were lined in corn, while the players threw out the first pitch with their fathers. It was a magic moment in collegiate summer ball history.
