While we navigated Florida summer weather delays, the community still came out strong to support the team on July 2nd and 5th, bookending our All-American 250 Weekend celebration.
On Thursday July 2nd, we continued to support our partners Matthew’s Hope. Come find us at an upcoming Squeeze game and pick up a 2026 Squeeze Paint the Park Purple t-shirt courtesy of our friends at Matthew’s Hope.
On Sunday July 5th, the Squeeze played as our alter-ego, Horizon West Magoos, sporting lime green jerseys from our community partners, Huey Magoos of Horizon West. The Magoos battled late into the evening, as Magic Kingdom fireworks were on display to the east, it seemed to light a fire under the team resulting in a crucial victory.
The team has been a beneficiary of our fantastic local food partners. Clean Eatz has continued to provide healthy pregame meals to fuel our players. Jets Pizza Ocoee and Huey Magoos provided postgame meals for both teams over the holiday weekend.
There are just three more regular season home games on the schedule, but they are crucial for playoff positioning.
The Magoos will return on Friday July 10th for Panther Lake PTO and Winter Garden Little League “Red for Led” Night. We hope to rally the local Horizon West and Winter Garden community together to support our neighborhood school and a favorite baseball coach undergoing very serious medical treatment.
And to close out the regular season with the Horizon West Fan Appreciation series on Thursday 7/17 (with Horizon West Happenings) and Friday 7/18.
As the Squeeze continue to push toward the playoffs, we have an opportunity to play additional postseason home games in front of our Horizon West / Winter Garden faithful.
