Folks what we have here is a big news for the 2016 season, and the subject is Trevor Story the rookie shortstop who is taking Colorado by storm.
What a way to start a career, as Story is the first player to hit a home run in his first four games and after Friday’s Colorado/Padres game, he took the lead in the home run category in the majors with six.
In the Rockies 13-6 loss to the Padres, Story finished 3 for 5, with two home runs and four RBI’s.
It has been noted that he is on pace to hit 243 home runs in 2016, and we all know that will not happen, but what a Story, no pun intended, is unfolding before our very eyes.
“I never would’ve thought that I’d start out like this, but it’s been great so far,” Story told mlb.com.
I am sure this will not be the last time we write about this impending superstar.
