On a season that has looked like the Juan Soto show, the New York Yankees other power threat Aaron Judge has finally shown up to the party.

After the month of April ended, Judge was batting just .207, with six doubles, five home runs and 18 RBIs.

The changing of the calendar proved to be one that favored Judge as he ended May scorching hot with a league leading 14 home runs for the month.

After a slow start to the month, where he when 0 for 6 in two games, Judge went on a six game hitting streak, homering three times (back to back games at the end of the streak), and recorded three muti-hit games during the span.

He then went hitless again for the next two games, but picked up where he left off and spun out an eight game hitting streak, led by a 4 for 4 game on May 15th, and four total multi-hit gams during thee streak.

Another hitless game, led to another streak, as he pulled off a six game hitting streak, recording a home run in four straight games, while raising his batting average to .279.

Just to keep with the trend, Judge went hitless on May 29th, only to go 1 for 5, with a home run the next night, and 3 for 4 on Friday night, which included a two-homer game.

With Judge’s monster month, he now is second in the Majors with 18 doubles, leads with 20 home runs, fifth with 45 RBIs, first with 45 walks, and first with a .648 SLG%.

A huge month for Judge, equated to a huge month for the Yankees, as the team finished 21-6, and overall they sit at the top of the AL East at 40-19.

A healthy Judge, is a win win for a successful Yankees season.

All Rise the Judge is back in session.
